STATE POLICY OF SOCIO-ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT: EVOLUTION OF THEORETICAL CONCEPTS AND METHODOLOGICAL APPROACHES

Abstract

The article describes the theoretical concepts of the formation and implementation of the state policy of socio-economic development in the historical aspect. The peculiarities of methodological approaches of scientists to the issue of the need for state intervention in the functioning of the market mechanism are determined. The problems and contradictions of various theoretical concepts and methodological approaches regarding the necessity and level of state intervention in socio-economic processes are clarified. The directions of theoretical and methodological improvement of the state policy4 of socio-economic development in the conditions of globalization processes are substantiated.
