Abstract: In recent years, the problem of weakly seismic and non-seismic areas prone to technogenic earthquakes caused by underground explosions, mining and anthropogenic impacts has become especially crucial. The main factors of the natural-technogenic seismic situation of the urban territories are the complex structural-tectonic and geological-lithological structure of the territories, the development of dangerous geological processes. At the same time, issues related to the forecast of activation (development) of hazardous geological processes and changes in engineering-geological and seismic properties of soils as a result of technogenic impact remain insufficiently studied. Urban development and technogenic impact on the environment contribute to increase water consumption, industrial and urban construction rising, change of natural riverbeds, reservoirs creation, the flooding processes development, which could cause and increase seismic hazards of technogenic origin for industrial and residential buildings, for dangerous technogenic objects
