Abstract: Physical training of fire and rescue units plays an integral role in enhancing overall physical readiness and the ability of personnel to effectively respond to emergency situations. In accordance with the requirements imposed by NATO membership, firefighters and rescuers must not only excel in their craft but also possess a high level of physical fitness.
